Great cafe! The coffee was delicious, and the breakfast was really tasty and cooked to how you like it. There is plenty of seating inside and out.

I am gluten intolerant and was slightly apprehensive as the menu online and in store doesn’t advertise gluten free options. Turned up anyway and enquired with the staff. They were super accomodating and were able to talk me through the menu. They have gluten free panini which is hands down the best gluten free bread I have had in Canberra. They had just made it so it was warm and delicious. Definitely will be back. I was blown away by good the food was.

Loved it !! This place impressed us in every factor. Such a lovely atmosphere plus its dog friendly. It felt like we are some where in the country side, very nice. The place can get very busy. We ordered egg benedict and stacked mushroom. It was absolutely delicious, the sauce tasted so fresh. The service was quick and the staffs there were lovely. Kudos to the team 👍🏻

The Beef Burger is an absolute unit—super juicy, loaded with bacon and egg, and the chips were spot on. If you’re feeling a toasted vibe, the wood fried panini is a winner; that bread has the perfect crunch and chew. Loved the chill outdoor seating and sipping on an iced coffee from a mason jar. It's the perfect spot for high-quality comfort food without the fuss. Definitely coming back for more!

The best cafe by far in queanbeyan and best authentic woodfired pizza in the Canberra region! Amazing food that is to die for! Affordable prices and quirky little setting. The staff are always happy and friendly! A real hidden gem!

We started coming here for breakfast and we love it that much that we come every Sunday. The breaky wrap is a meal in itself and is made from fresh ingredients. The coffee is so smooth and moorish. The coffee cups say another? at the bottom and my partner has done just that. We love the fact that the owner is hands on, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We love The Mill House

Best pizza (especially gluten free) ever. Great service too. We turned up near closing time and they still fired up the oven and made 2 pizzas for us. 👍👍👍 Our dog enjoyed her pupaccino.

Delicious wraps - got the brekkie and falafel and they were freshly made and really tasty. Also saw some seriously good looking pizzas coming out of the ovens, so we'll be back to try those next!

All Canberra’s best cafes are in Queanbeyan. The Mill (over the road from the sparkling Queanbeyan River) is outstanding as an early-opener … and as one of the region’s few Georgian buildings, its rustic charm suit urban-sketching, especially out in its garden. Here’s an urban sketch that I made early in the morning on New Year’s Eve. The sketch shows barista Monzo making a Puppy-chino for the giant St Bernard dog waiting patiently with its human. Exotic dishes like the ‘Sizzle Platter’ are outstanding and even nutritious. Fabulous spot. Cheers Ross (on IG as @scribblyross)
